Why house concerts?
House concerts feel like a holiday feast around a big table, where people come in as strangers but leave as friends. A seat at this house concert is more intimate than a front-row seat to your favorite artist: Karalyn wants to interact with you and let your ideas shape the concert experience!

Are you interested in hosting Karalyn’s next concert in your home? A few things are needed to make it work:
A host who loves music and loves having people in their home!
Seating for at least 20 people.
A willingness to invite your friends and family. Hosts are not required to fill all 20+ seats; Karalyn can supplement the guest list with her own following. But if you would like to fill all of the seats with your own guests, that is totally fine!
A piano that will be professionally serviced within 2 months of the concert OR space for Karalyn to place her own keyboard.
Permission for Karalyn to receive donations from guests, since that is how these concerts are funded. If a host prefers, they may instead choose to supply a fee based on anticipated attendance.
Permission for Karalyn to record video and audio of the concert (audience likenesses will be redacted).
Some food or drinks for everyone to enjoy afterwards! This can be as simple or fancy as the host likes. Enjoying community as we relax, talk, and eat afterwards is one of the best parts about house concerts!

All I need from you is to invite your friends and provide light refreshments afterwards. It’s like hosting a party, but without having to worry about the entertainment!

The concert will last just over an hour.

Children who can sit quietly for an hour are welcome to attend.

Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance via an Eventbrite link that will be made available a few weeks prior to the show. Seating at home concerts is always limited and exact, so accurate guest counts are a must. These concerts are funded entirely by generous donations from the audience.

Doors will open 20min prior to the concert. Seating is first-come, first-served, so it is recommended that you come with enough time to find parking and a seat!

The audience is made up of both friends of the host and Karalyn’s community. Some people will be meeting the host for the first time, and some will be attending their first-ever house concert. Come on in, introduce yourself to the hosts and other guests, and enjoy the show!
